Smog City
by Chazz Azz
I'm up in the morning and feeling fine.
I kiss my baby goodbye.
I'm out the door and I shift into low.
I get up on the freeway and away I go.
I'm going down, down, downtown to smog city.
By the time I get downtown,
I look up at the sky of brown.
People around look like their turning green.
Oh Lord this isn't my kind of scene.
I'm going down, down, downtown to smog city.
A long time ago the air was pure.
Our water was fit to drink.
But now the water is poison.
The whole sky is poison.
Our air, it stinks.
Going down, down, downtown to smog city.
