What's Wrong And Why
by Chazz Azz
Hello again and welcome to another segment of Chazz radio. Before I get started tonight I wanted to take some time to explain a few things about myself. The reason I say that it's my belief that in talking about myself I'm actually talking about many many other people and even may be of great deal of humanity. Even though we're called unique individuals all of humanity shares some basic traits. I will now elaborate on that. It's my belief, one of the biggest problems if not the biggest problem is not being able to get honest with ourselves. You know with all the innovation and modernization and the technology that is so readily available, there's one thing that isn't available for the most part. And that's honestly. So, in order to be honest with myself I have to be honest with you and to be honest with you I have to tell you the truth, regardless of how tough it may be or the fear of which you might think. Or how you might judge me. Because the truth is going to come out sooner or later.. look around you.
So let's get started. By the way, I'm going to use my own life, my own experiences, my memories and the courage to tell you the truth, regardless of what you may think. Let's just pretend for a moment, that things aren't the way they are now in the world. Let's go back 30 years. Maybe I grew up in a bubble but I don't think so. If my memory serves me correctly, people cared about being married 30 years ago. People cared about being married if they were going to have children. People used to feel comfortable about talking about church and using the term, are you ready for this?, The word god. They even use the word Jesus comfortably and words like worship and thanksgiving. People read the newspaper for numerous things. To find out how the stock market was doing, to read the funnies E C T.
Kids didn't kill. They didn't take guns to school. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it was a bed of roses. It was a heck of a lot different than it is now though. Now I wanna make a very very important footnote here. It might be a person's first impression are first nature to say, well of course things change. Times are different it's not the same world we live in then. You know what, you're absolutely right. But you know what else? There's a common denominator for those changes that took place. I'm going to tell you what it is.
Now try to stay with me on this. What happened was simple and the same thing continues to happen today and that is the deterioration of values. Not just any values but righteous values.
This is how it plays out. In no order of specific importance, people start getting lied to. and they believe it, so we act upon it. And by the way, they get from the magazine rack. You know the people magazines and those kinds of things you all those people who are so wealthy and so happy and they can't stay married anybody. They get from the TV. They lose traditional values, husbands start staying out and wives get sick of staying at home. Kids get sick of staying in school. People become obsessed with self gratification, greed, making excuses and lying when they don't have one. They get obsessed with stuff.
They start believing the biggest lie of all. And that's the heart of this series. I want stop right here and explain this. People wind up believing the lie that tells them that their value is based on how much they earn how much they spend, how much they have in the bank how many women they sleep with how many men they sleep or how often they can get away with it, if they can cheat and get away with it and every step of the way God takes a back seat and the concept of character and the inability to realize it's abnormal not to believe in the god that created you is 1,000,000 miles away. It's like a Santa Claus, a floating fog and and the actions of a fool to even consider such a thing as god or prayer or living right. You can basically sum it up by saying living righteously. Which means nothing other than having the right relationship with god.
I don't know about you, but for me, two times two equals four. Nothing times nothing doesn't equal everything. The is a great power at work here. And by the way I wanna make something clear, science doesn't disagree with god. Man does. It's the same truth with religion. You mix what god has to say and man's opinion and you know to get,? Religion. God always loses you look around society right now and you take a brief consensus of people's opinions and if you can come up with anything other than that god has lost, I will kiss your feet. And I'll say one other thing on that. As time goes on and days become weeks and weeks become months, months become years and years become decades, we wake up one day we don't even know how it used to be we can't even feel it or recognize it anymore. Look around you..
So where are we today? Well let's look. I remember the time and they used at national prayer day and it was something real to the people. Modernization has ruined us by the way. Now watch this. Listen. Is modernization bad? No. What humanity does with it, what man does with it, what a dishonest politician does with it and so on that makes it bad. It's man's behavior that is wrong not god not technology and so on. Does this make any sense? If it doesn't, there's something wrong.
So what am I saying? What I'm saying is this. We don't need another tax break. We don't need to raise the debt ceiling. We certainly don't need to continue on the pathway we've been on.
What we need to do is to forget the fools hope, the hope of fools that believe some commercial, some newly elected official, making empty promises, like those before him, will solve our problems. Only one thing is going to solve our problems and that is a right relationship with the god that created us. If that sounds foreign to most people, then that is all the sign we need and the proof of how far from the truth we have drifted.
In my opinion, think about this. What makes a person balanced? What makes a person complete? What makes a person happy and capable of making other people happy? Being an honest person. You know why? Because you know what to expect. If you know what to expect, you know how to live your life, you know how to plan, how to spend your money, how to save your money, to be a good father to be a good mother to be a good son and daughter and so on. People we live in a world that bombards us with Lies. Half truths. No truths. The injustice of saying I will and acting as if they said I won't. More will be revealed, keep the faith
