What Is A Chem Trail?
by Georgia Woods

What is a chemtrail ? a chemtrail is a white line apparently made by
jet aircraft that stays in the sky. Other jet aircraft seem to add
more white lines and eventually there is a grid pattern of X's and
lines in the sky. These trails spread out over the course of the
day and create a haze which is most visible at night when the stars
seem to be obscured. The sky itself takes on a gray look and the
blues are no longer as blue. There is also a sheen to the sky which
seems to increase the brilliance of the sun, turning it into a
monster impossible to look at even peripherally.
In the city, we're all busy. There's no time to look up. In 2004, the
year I first noticed chemtrails, I had moved to a location 12 miles
from the nearest town and 7 miles from the nearest electrical plug and
piped water. Here my husband and I proceeded to outfit a partially
completed house with wind, solar and rain catchment completely
self-sufficient. We found that for about the price of a new cadillac,
a 3,000 square foot house could be outfitted to run washer,
dryer, frig., TV, computers, security cameras, flood lights,
water pump etc. and still generate enough electricity to sell back
to the electric company if it ever got that far.
Our nearest neighbor was a quarter of a mile away. One day a group
called the 'Dark Skies' came to visit complaining about our porch light.
They are a group of star watchers who wanted their pristine night skies
back. I was mystified. How could we, in our remote location with our
intermittant porch light and motion sensitive flood lights possibly
interfere with their sky watching? I looked up to see what the problem
might be. It was immediately apparent. The sky that was a brilliant
mass of stars when we first moved here - so many that it was hard
to find the familiar constellations in that mass - was hazy.
The Pleiades, a very recognizable grouping of stars, could barely
be seen. What had happened?
During the day, looking up, we began to notice aircraft criss-crossing
the sky, leaving white trails that would linger and then spread. There
was an airport in the nearest town but it was almost always closed and
we were not on any air traffic lanes. There were some military
installations but, again, these were far from us and yet we thought
maybe some maneuvers of some kind and let it go until one day, globs fell
from the sky. They were like a fiber-glass gel. My husband headed on
over to the nearest neighbor and found a group gathered there and
proceeded to explain what we had seen. No one knew and it wasn't until
the globs started to fall there that the group took notice. No, they
hadn't seen this before though some were born and raised in this
location.
I went on the internet and found that people in Washington state and
other places had seen the globs. There were a lot of sites describing
the lines in the sky and some analysis of content: aluminum got my
attention because metals and human beings don't mix very well. Metals
cause all kinds of strange physical problems and mental effects as well.
I started to cross-check plane crashes with spraying because aluminum
particles wouldn't seem to mix well with moving parts in engines either.
What I found was alarming. Aircraft engines would just stop for no
reason and planes would crash.
My husband and I called all the agencies we felt would be responsible for
this and we were basically told that they weren't allowed to give us
any information and a campaign of threats to our life and property
started. Nonetheless, my husband was able to convince the small-town
paper in the nearest town to us to do an article on the lines in the sky.
He supplied pictures and everyone started looking up. The article came
out and gave both sides - the other side being that this was normal and
had always gone on. The end result of the article was inconclusive and
soon after the paper was bought out by some conglomerate and no follow-
up was ever done.
In the years since then, an entire campaign to discredit observers of
chemtrails has grown up. Even NASA has an article on chemtrails
basically calling them a hoax and calling observers lunatics. Observers,
like me, maintain that these are not my father's skies. Occasionally,
in the past, I would see white behind a jet but it would always dissipate
rather quickly. The official line is that this always went on, we just
never noticed. Another official line is that there is more air traffic.
I researched and found that there is less air traffic from commercial
sources based on reporting airports. Yet another official line is that
we, observers, don't understand science and that there are scientific
explanations for this phenomenon. I found that a pseudo-science has
grown up around these sightings and the many oral and written complaints
and demands for explanations - a science that is not based on actual
observation but instead demands blind faith.
Take a day out from the mad rush. Have a seat on your patio and watch
as a cloudless sky turns into wispy clouds that spread creating a haze
that makes star gazing, except for the few brightest stars, impossible.
